Better food out there for the money.
The primary grain is rice , which is a fairly decent grain to use . But there is 3 by-products of rice in the top 4 ingredients listed , which shows it is the main ingredient .It also lists rice gluten which is nothing but filler and has no nutritional value . It also contains beet pulp , which is a by-product of sugar beets . Some dog food manufacturers claim that it is a good sorce of fibre , but has been found to cause more harm than good . There are much better foods out there for the price of this one .
Excellent Mass Market Dog Food
This is a fine mass-market dog food with quality ingredients. It was only the wet variety that was subject to recall, not the kibble. I'm delighted to have found it on Amazon.Seems to you :
I just want to say that I fed my dogs this food for 20 years and it is excellent. And not too expensive for a quality food. Especially, if your dog is prone to "SKIN ISSUES" from most foods. There is only one food
I prefer over this and it is both hard to find and more expensive.
